Creating the "Azola Effect" for business leaders
The name Azola is African for overcoming challenges, and bringing peace and calm. This name was chosen as our business name because it’s why we do what we do. We enjoy helping business leaders overcome their product marketing challenges. We aim to instill peace and calm by helping to develop a marketing mindset, empowering our clients to achieve more, with clarity and measurable marketing effectiveness.
Greg Davis, Founder and Executive Creative Director of Azola Creative invested the first half of his career in the music industry. He earned opportunities to work with international recording artists, such as Blessed Union of Souls and Toni Braxton as well as working on Pokémon The Movie Soundtrack, from the 2000 motion picture. As an artist, he reached #5 on CMJ charts, (college radio’s equivalent of Billboard). In achieving this success, he discovered he also had a passion and talent for marketing that he wanted to pursue.
He started his new career in the E-Commerce industry, a decision that would shape his unique view of product marketing that serves clients to this day. In E-Commerce, every channel is optimized to drive sales. He was fortunate enough to learn every step of E-Commerce workflows through employers such as Solid Cactus, Web.com and eBay Inc.
As his experience grew, so did his leadership opportunities. He led B2B corporate marketing teams, creating cross-enterprise initiatives that increase product awareness, and sales using the same principles he learned in E-Commerce.
In 2018, he founded Azola Creative with the goal of helping clients transform their products into a sales engine through proven marketing tactics, tools and product launch strategies.
